Forget Conformity is a progressive metal-core band based out of Fort Worth, Texas; with a hard hitting, energetic, modern sound. They grew up on metal and have a wide variety of influences ranging from the classic era of Rush and Iron Maiden, to today’s heavier hitters such as White Chapel and Machine Head.
Forget Conformity was formed in summer of 2014. Guitarist Brad Clifton, and bassist Jon Garrett, who have been playing music together since high school, met Jonathon Baker through a mutual friend. They developed their sound over the first few years with other members before settling on vocalist Chris Edwards, and guitarist Andrew Bishop. They are currently in studio updating their sound, recording their full length EP and preparing to perform in South by So what music festival in March.

Some of the highlights of their music career include being sponsored by ColdCock whiskey and being featured as local support for artists such as Oh’ Sleeper, Psychostick, Nekrogoblikon, and Ice Nine Kills, and co-headlined with The Ongoing Concept on several return trips through Texas.
